Our story
How it all started
HUMMUS was founded in 2019 by Fanny Matheusen, who invited initially 5 people to join her. Since then, HUMMUS has grown into a thriving network of trainers and facilitators, all dedicated to actively fostering hope and working toward a fairer and more just world.
HUMMUS introduced Lewis Deep Democracy in Belgium and, 5 years later, has trained over 3800 people. Collectively, all HUMMUS trainers bring over 200 years of experience in working with individuals and groups.

From the very beginning, we wanted to do more than just process facilitation. Our goal has always been to empower both individuals and organisations through training, workshops, keynotes and generously sharing meaningful knowledge and resources.
